Information coming soon!<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-advgb-tab advgb-tab-body-container\"><div class=\"advgb-tab-body-header advgb-tab-class-\">Tab 2<\/div><div class=\"advgb-tab-_348097-76 advgb-tab-body\" aria-labelledby=\"advgb-tabs-tab1\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ACUE Courses<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Tarleton faculty have the opportunity to participate in asynchronous online professional development courses provided by the Association of College and University Educators (ACUE) that promote evidence-based teaching practices.  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tarleton.edu\/cee\/acue\/\">Learn more about course length and upcoming availability<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Faculty Development Cohorts<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Center for Educational Excellence offers three extensive faculty development programs that include an evidence-based study and an opportunity for compensation. These cohorts begin in May and conclude with a poster night in the following April. A call for applications is released each spring semester. <a href=\"http:\/\/tarleton.edu\/cee\/development-cohorts\">Learn more about the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL), Faculty Scholarship Cohort (FSC), and the Experiential Learning Faculty Cohort (ELFC).<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Monthly Professional Development (PD Pond)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Come visit us once per month in the &#8220;Professional Development Pond&#8221; for a come-and-go opportunity to get support with your courses and work on planning future initiatives. Each month has a new theme complete with treat bags and a duck-of-the-month! <a href=\"https:\/\/calendar.tarleton.edu\/cee\/all\/search\/faculty%20pd%20pond\">View the PD Pond on the calendar!<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Educational Excellence Week<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This internal virtual conference hosted each spring semester gives faculty and staff an opportunity to showcase the components of the faculty role and impacts made on students. A call for presentations will go out late in the fall semester. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tarleton.edu\/cee\/educational-excellence-week\/\">Get more information about EE Week<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Self-Paced Courses<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Fall 2024 semester will feature two six-week asynchronous classes for faculty who wish to further develop their skills:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tarleton.edu\/cee\/asynchronous-faculty-development-gen-z\/\">Teaching &amp; Learning with Generation Z<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tarleton.edu\/cee\/ai-as-a-teaching-partner\/\">AI as a Teaching Partner<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">New Faculty Training Academy<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The New Faculty Training Academy, facilitated by the Center for Educational Excellence, is a three-pronged approach to supporting faculty in their first year teaching at Tarleton.
