Editing Images
Images can only be placed in certain sections of content modules due to their responsive/squishy nature. Each image must meet the image quality standards (e.g. photography, graphics) and use the appropriate dimensions for the content module used to display correctly.
Before adding in the content module, you'll need to create the image file in the images Folder inside your website inside Cascade. If you need to replace the image file, it must be the same dimensions and file type (e.g. .jpg).
Each Image section in a content module has the following options:
- Image: Required to display an image already inside Cascade.
- Open in a New Window?: Optional and set by default to No, since most links should be opened in the same browser window/tab.
- Type of Link: Required to determine if the type is Internal or External. Images do not typically have links, unless it is obvious there is a call-to-action on the image.
- Alternative Text: Required on every image because every image must have a relevant purpose to the content and that purpose must be accessible to screen readers.
