Campus Recreation consists of three facilities: Campus Recreation Center, Vance Terrell Complex, and the Challenge Course.

Group Fitness Rooms

The group fitness rooms (223 and 225) are used throughout the year for group fitness and Kinesiology classes. Rooms are not available for open recreation and require a reservation through Texan Sync.

Weight Room and Cardio

The weight room includes a large section of free weights (RSC 133) and a selectorized machine area (RSC 134). The free weight area is comprised of Hammer Strength equipment. The selectorized machine area is comprised of Life Fitness equipment.

Campus Recreation also provides members with a 1/11 mile track and over 60 cardio machines. Machines include:

  • Cross trainers
  • Stair steppers
  • Treadmills
  • Recumbent cycles
  • Upright cycles
  • Rowers

Climbing Wall

The indoor climbing wall offers bouldering and top-rope climbing, which provides members with a safe and innovative opportunity to promote growth, team building, as well as communication and trust. For Climbing Wall reservations, contact Outdoor Pursuits at 254-968-5382.

All equipment for this facility must be kept in the area of activities and exercises in which it relates.
