This does not include living expenses, books, or supply fees.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tvc.texas.gov\/education\/hazlewood-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Learn more about the Hazlewood Act.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-advgb-tab advgb-tab-body-container\"><div class=\"advgb-tab-body-header advgb-tab-class-Texas Armed Services Scholarships (TASSP) \" id=\"advgb-tab-panel-_f4490a-a0-1\" role=\"tabpanel\" aria-labelledby=\"advgb-tab-_f4490a-a0-1\" tabindex=\"0\"><span>Texas Armed Services Scholarships (TASSP)<\/span><\/div><div class=\"advgb-tab-_f4490a-a0 advgb-tab-body\" aria-labelledby=\"advgb-tab-panel-_f4490a-a0-1\" style=\"display:none\">\n<p>The Texas Armed Services Scholarships Program (TASSP) is a scholarship available to any Texas resident who is interested in pursuing a commission in one of the Armed Services or, upon graduation, who will join the:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Texas Army National Guard,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Texas Air National Guard,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Texas State Guard,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>U.S. Merchant Marines, or<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>U.S. Coast Guard.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the requirements for this scholarship is to enroll in ROTC classes, which is also a requirement for those who join the Corps of Cadets.&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.hhloans.com\/index.cfm?ObjectID=8FB593C7-EE1E-7872-00A8808886543AEE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Find out more about the TASSP<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<style class=\"advgb-styles-renderer\">.advgb-tabs-73c645cf-08b7-4c9c-8024-e4cede7e6dc8 ul.advgb-tabs-panel li.advgb-tab.advgb-tab-active {background-color:#4f2d7f !important;color:#ffffff !important;}#advgb-tabs-73c645cf-08b7-4c9c-8024-e4cede7e6dc8 .advgb-tab-body-header.header-active, .advgb-tabs-73c645cf-08b7-4c9c-8024-e4cede7e6dc8 .advgb-tab-body-header.header-active{background-color:#4f2d7f !important;color:#ffffff !important;}<\/style>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There are ample opportunities for Tarleton students to receive scholarships.
