Campus Life

Duck Camp

If you are interested in attending Duck Camp, make sure to apply for a session. Duck Camp welcomes the freshman class to Tarleton each year with the purpose of giving them an opportunity to have fun, make friends, and learn more about life.

Parking

Freshmen are allowed to have a car at Tarleton. If you bring a car to Tarleton you will need to purchase a parking permit from Tarleton Parking. Most Cadets park near the Cadet area in Lot 20. Many Cadets do not come with a car and they are able to get where they need without any major issues using Tarleton transportation system or their friends. For more information, refer to the Tarleton Parking Services webpage.

Post Office Box

All Cadets residing in campus housing are furnished a post office box as part of their housing fee. A Cadet not living in housing may a box by paying $13 for each long semester (fall and spring) and $10.50 for the entire summer. Keys will be issued at orientation registration or may be obtained from the post office.

Convocation

Families can attend the Academic Convocation at 8p.m. in Wisdom Gym inside the Kinesiology Building but be aware the freshman will be sitting with their units during the ceremony.
