Can my family or other authorized users have access to my Student Account?<\/h2><\/div>
\n

Students may set up authorized users to view their billing information and or their student bill on their behalf. Please note that, in accordance with FERPA, this does not allow the authorized user to view the student\u2019s academic records, course schedule, or other personal information. Authorized users may view student account activity, make payments, and set up payment plans. Can a family member make payments through my TransferMate account?<\/h2><\/div>

Yes, this is possible; however some identification documents may be required. TransferMate’s Customer Service Team will contact you if documents are needed. lease be advised that some restrictions may apply if you are paying from India or China. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Will I be charged for using this service?<\/h2><\/div>
\n

TransferMate does not charge a fee for cross-country transactions. All international payments made through TransferMate are completely free of charge although you may be charged by your bank for making a local transaction, this is unfortunately out of TransferMate’s control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TransferMate may apply a fee for same-currency transactions. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

How long does it take for the institution to receive my payment?<\/h2><\/div>
\n

Once TransferMate receives your funds, they are transferred to the institution without delay, within 48 hours (excluding weekends).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Typically, if you send your funds to TransferMate via bank transfer, it will take between 2-3 working days to reach their bank accounts. However, some banks may take longer, and this is outside of TransferMate’s control. Your bank can advise you of timeframes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Credit card payments take between 3 and 7 working days for the funds to clear into TransferMate’s account. TransferMate can only transfer cleared funds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If your payment status has not changer for three working dats after you have sent funds, please request proof of payment from your bank (bank receipt and SWIFT MT103, when available) and send it to edu@transfermate.com. The Customer Service Team will them check for an update. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Where are TransferMate payments shown in my Student Account?<\/h2><\/div>

When the student registers the payment, it is displayed on the home page as a Pending Alternate Payment Method. Once the payment is made, and funds are con\ufb01rmed by TransferMate, the student account is updated and it can be seen in the Payment and Account History.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

What is the status of my payment?<\/h2><\/div>
\n

To check the status of your payment, log into your TransferMate online account and navigate to the Payment History section. From there, you can view the status of your payment by clicking on each booking. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Status Explanation: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Registered: You have successfully registered, and TransferMate is awaiting your funds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pending: Funds have been received by TransferMate and your payment is being processed<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paid: TransferMate has sent the funds to your institution<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inactive: The booking is no longer active as TransferMate has received a cancellation request from you, or funds have not been received within the agreed timeframe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If your payment status has not changed for 3 working days after you have sent the funds to us, please request proof of payment form your bank (bank receipt and SWIFT MT103, when available) and send it to edu@transfermate.com. How will I know if my payment has been successful?<\/h2><\/div>

A payment notification will be emailed to you confirming your payment has been sent by TransferMate to the Institution.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Can you provide me with a receipt for the payment?<\/h2><\/div>
\n

TransferMate will email a payment notification confirming your funds have been transferred to the Institution. If you require a receipt to verify that your fees have been paid, please get in touch with your Institution.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

How long does it take to process my refund?<\/h2><\/div>
\n

Refunds are processed as soon as possible. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, in some instances, proof of payment is required (confirming the full account name and number) t o process your refund. Our Customer Service Team will contact you if this is the case. Proof of payment must be submitted to TransferMate within 5 working days, or the funds will be returned to the institution. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please note that some refunds, depending on the payment method, may take up to 15 working days to be credited back to your account. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

What is a 1098-T form?<\/h2><\/div>
\n

Form 1098-T Tuition Statement is a one-page tax form filed by eligible educational institutions. The institution must complete a form for every student who is currently enrolled and paying qualifying tuition and related expenses. A copy of the form is kept for records or sent tot eh student by the institution; therefore, if you require a copy, please get in touch with your institution. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

How do I cancel a payment?<\/h2><\/div>
