Fee Changes for Fall 2019

Tarleton’s vision is to become the premier student-focused university in Texas and beyond. In order to fulfill that vision and help ensure you receive the highest quality education and support possible, four fees will be included with your Fall 2019 billing statement. We have worked hard to keep them at a minimum and we are glad to have you as part of the Tarleton family.

Intercollegiate Athletics Fee

Intercollegiate athletics increases visibility for the university, adding value to a Tarleton degree. Students at all campus locations will be charged this fee. All students will be admitted to home athletic events using their Texan Card student ID. Athletic events are a great way to show school spirit and enjoy the team sports Tarleton participates in as a member of the NCAA. Transportation from the Fort Worth and Waco campuses to Stephenville will be provided for select games; sign-up for these games will be announced via email this fall with additional details.

This fee is $22.00 per semester credit hour, with a maximum of $286.00 per semester.

Health Services Fee

Students at all campus locations will be charged this fee. Health and counseling services will be offered at the following locations:

This fee is $4.91 per semester credit hour, with a maximum of $75.00 per semester.

Campus Recreation

Wellness has a proven positive impact on academic performance.  Stephenville and Ft Worth Campus students will be charged this fee.

Stephenville students will continue to enjoy the Recreational Sports Facility located on the Stephenville Campus. This fee is $100.00 per semester for the Fall and Spring, and $50.00 for the Summer.

Ft Worth student will have access to a fitness room at the Ft Worth Campus, as well as an optional membership to the Chisholm Trail Community Center at 4936 McPherson Blvd. This fee is $50.00 per semester for the Fall and Spring, and $20.00 for the Summer.

Parking

Students attending classes at the Stephenville and Ft Worth Campuses will need to register for a parking permit. Permits are good for both campuses in designated lots. This fee is $100.00 annually and is charged with your Fall 2019 billing statement. To register for a parking permit, Complete Parking Permit Registration Information.
