University Groups with External Functions<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

University groups whose primary purpose is to provide a service to an external-facing population are allowed a unique graphic identity. A graphic identity is essential for groups to market and advertise their services to a non-university audience effectively. The Office of Marketing and Communications creates graphic identities and adheres to the university’s brand guidelines. Examples include, but are not limited to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

EXTERNAL AUDIENCES<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Groups are classified as external-facing when one (or more) of the following conditions are met:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • The program’s primary function is to offer services to individuals outside the university setting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • The program is academic in nature, but its outcomes affect an external population.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
