\u201cI believe that if you reach the campus, you will reach the world.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Omaha, Texas native, Megan Trotter, began her college journey at Tarleton State after falling in love with the agriculture program and the lively campus. After chatting with the Dr. Rudy Tarpley about all that the agriculture program had to offer, Megan was hooked!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During her time at Tarleton, Trotter was involved in collegiate FFA, the economics society, intramural sports and the Baptist Student Ministry (BSM).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her involvement at the BSM impacted both her professional and personal life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

During a BSM hosted Bible study tailored to agriculture majors, Trotter met her now husband who had recently changed his major from engineering to agriculture communications.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After graduating in 2017 with her Bachelor\u2019s of Science in Agriculture Business and earning another degree in economics, Megan began immediately working for the BSM as an intern. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shortly after, she became the Associate Director and later became the Director in 2020.\u00a0Megan is the first Tarleton BSM Director to have received her degree from Tarleton State.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trotter has dedicated her life post-grad to trying to determine how her degrees can help her carry out the Lord’s plan for her. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since taking on her full-time roles at the BSM, Megan has accomplished so much including helping students strengthen their religious relationship with the Lord. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In her role, Megan gets the chance to help spread the Gospel to local Baptist churches as well as students in Stephenville and families around the world. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of Trotter’s greatest accomplishments is that she has seen hundreds of students come to know the Lord through mission trips. <\/p>\n<\/div>

Megan shared that her favorite part about working with college students is how moldable they are. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“They [college students] want to go and learn about different fields of work and culture. If you introduce college students to Jesus and train them up as disciples, they can go and make disciples around the nation,” Trotter shared. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As she continues to grow within the BSM, Trotter hopes to receive her master’s degree from BH Seminary to help better serve the BSM and its students.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
