Reiter grew up in northern Minnesota, developing a love for animals and the outdoors. She attended the University of Minnesota after graduation as a first-generation student but dropped out after her freshman year. After six years, she returned to the University of Minnesota to complete her undergraduate studies in animal nutrition with an equine emphasis, sparking her interest in agricultural research. She received a Master of Science from the University of Minnesota and a PhD from the University of Connecticut, both with a focus on animal nutrition and muscle biology. Dr. Reiter’s specific research interests include the intersections of animal nutrition, muscle biology, oxidative stress, and inflammation in both production and performance animals.

Amanda Reiter, Ph.D. Postdoctoral Research Scholar & Adjunct Faculty Email: areiter@tarleton.edu Phone: (254)-968-7086 Office: Equine 101B Research Interests Education Undergraduate Education B.S. in Animal Science (Equine Emphasis), University of Minnesota, …

["post-1316","page","type-page","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry
["GET
