Mission<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The mission of the Tarleton State University Agriculture Center is to provide a progressive, hands-on instructional laboratory environment that reflects today’s agricultural industry. By complementing classroom learning with real-world experiences, the Agriculture Center equips students with the knowledge, skills, and practical understanding needed to build successful careers and become responsible leaders in agriculture and their communities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Goals<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

1. Environmental Stewardship: Operate all facilities in a manner that maintains or improves the quality of our environment while making sure all applicable rules are met.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Student Experiences: Provide a safe and educational work environment for student workers;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Facility and Resource Maintenance: Maintain and update facilities, equipment, and genetics to remain current with industry technology and accommodate teaching, research, and outreach activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
