Silver Taps Ceremony
About Silver Taps
The Silver Taps Ceremony is held each spring to honor those faculty, staff, students, alumni and friends who have passed away during the previous year. This event is a cooperative undertaking of the student body, Division of Advancement and External Relations, Tarleton's ROTC Program and Tarleton Alumni Association. The roll call and candle lighting ceremony culminate each year with a processional, placing of the flowers at the base of the Military Memorial, Taps and a 21 gun salute.
Silver Taps Ceremony for 2014 will be Thursday, April 10, 8 p.m. in Heritage Oaks Park.
