FIRST TIME IN COLLEGE REQUIREMENTS

Everything you need to know about beginning your journey at Tarleton in one spot.

Am I considered a First Time in College Student?

  • Are you about to graduate from high school?
  • Have you graduated from high school/obtained a GED and did not attend a college or university during the immediate Fall or Spring semester?
  • Have you completed a college course(s) prior to high school graduation or taken a course(s) during the summer immediately following high school graduation/GED completion?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you are considered a first-time in college student!

College credits earned prior to high school graduation (dual credit) and courses taken immediately following high school graduation (during the summer) will classify you as a first-time freshman.
