What
type of feedback will students receive on major writing assignments?
Describe feedback provided. Generally, feedback does not include
commenting on graded papers unless there are numerous assignments of
the same type spaced throughout the semester. Feedback might include
peer review or in-class draft workshops; written or oral instructor
comments on drafts; or Calibrated Peer Review. Other methods of
feedback may also be devised. Feedback should be such that students can
use it to improve the papers they are writing. Not every assignment
needs this sort of feedback, but it is assumed it is beneficial. |
|
Elaborate
on the methods of instruction used, for example, reading, exercises,
lecture, modeling, discussion, in-class writing, peer response groups.
Instruction also includes providing feedback other than the final grade
and opportunities for students to practice writing. |
