October 7, 2008 Meeting
Daniel Price called he meeting to order at 7:00 pm. He reported that we took a group of wildlife students to work at the Texas Parks and Wildlife Expo in Austin to help Texas Wildlife Association. We also used the "How water goes from private lands to your faucet" display at the TWA booth. We then talked about more planning of the wild game dinner. Daniel made a sign-in sheet for people to go to local businesses to sell tickets. We voted on lowering the price of tickets for people who want to attend later in the night at the wild game dinner. We also voted on putting a minimum bid on silent auction items and no estimated value of the raffle items. We will also be taking donations at the wild game dinner. We made sign-in sheets for people to cook, decorate and advertise the dinner at the homecoming parade. Daniel also announced the volunteer opportunity on October 25th at the Ft. Worth Nature Center clearing bison fields. Next meeting will be October 14th for final preparations of the wild game diner. Daniel adjourned the meeting at 8:00 pm.
