Daniel Price called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. The main topic of discussion for this meting was making final preparations for the wild game dinner on October 18, 2008. Daniel had sign-in sheets for cooking, ticket selling, label making, decorating, parade, and events at the dinner. We set a tentative schedule of events for the night with doors opening at 7 pm, food served at 7:30, close raffle and silent auction at 9, and from 10-12 music and dancing. On October 29 there is a Block and Bridle event starting at 8pm at the T.S.U. farm, October 25th we will be going to the Ft. Worth Nature Center and Refuge to do some mesquite clearing. Next meeting we will have guest speaker Cathy Boyles from DFW Airport who is a wildlife administrator talk to us about her job of keeping wildlife out of the airport. Scholarships applications are now available on the website and are due by November 14th. Winners will be announced at the last meeting. On October 28th T.R.E.A.T. is having a rodeo at the farm and volunteers are needed. Daniel Price adjourned the meeting at 8:00 pm.
