Mission of University Web Services:
As caretakers of Tarleton's online presence, the mission of University Web Services is to support the goals of the university by creating an inclusive website environment that is inviting and informative to prospective students as well as supportive to current students, faculty, and staff; offer instructional training to the Tarleton community; and provide services that develop and enhance Tarleton's web presence.
Goals:
- Maintain an effective web site for the informational needs of
prospective, current, and former students as well as faculty, staff,
and other visitors.
- Provide services to increase productivity and efficiency of
departments through implementation of web technology and
programming.
- Ensure the Tarleton University web site meets all federal, state, and
TAMUS guidelines and maintain the highest level of accessibility for
all web visitors.
- Provide necessary training to faculty, staff, and students in web page development.
Organizational Structure:
Web Services is a department within the Information Technology Services department, and belongs to the Division of Enrollment and Information Management.
