WHAT does it offer?
Tarleton State University administrators have chosen MindLeaders.com, a developer of self-paced and web-based training since 1981, as a partner to provide on-line training for faculty, staff, and students! Tarleton has taken the lead in the state of Texas by being the first university to use on-line training so extensively!
The program features over 400 on-line training courses in such areas as: computer programming, software training, soft skills, management training, and more. This opportunity is a perfect way to enhance workplace skills and expertiseat your own pace! You can check out a catalog of what courses are available by visiting the MindLeaders.com Course Catalog .
The courses can be accessed from any computer with Internet connections, at any time! Various components built into the program make it easy to use and include: the Master Topics/Index, a reference assistance tool; bookmarking, a program tool which allows the user to exit the program and re-enter later at the same place; and a skill assessment tool to customize the individual learning process.
Another feature of the program allows supervisors to design a specific curriculum of courses for his/her department in order to raise the skill levels of each employee!
The MindLeaders.com program is a perfect opportunity to meet Tarleton's top ranking requests for software training from employees and supervisors...and, is being offered for the low cost of $90.00 per 12 month license. The license allows the user to have access to any of the more than 400 training courses available. (This program is purchased by business and industry at $585.00 per license.)

Units for its courses.
WHO can get a license?
Faculty and staff licenses can be purchased
by your department or by you individually!
Faculty interested in using MindLeaders to
supplement course materials for students may contact the Training Department
for more details.
Currently, students
are only eligilble if the license is being used for a class
or if they are working
on campus as a student worker or work study student.
HOW do I purchase a license?
To purchase a license
(limit one per individual):
Through your department:
Send
a completed "Request to Purchase" form listing the name to be listed on
the
license and SSN of the user, signed by the department head or supervisor,
to Stan Swam, Human Resources Training Department, Box T-0510.
Individually: Send a written request, including the name to be listed on the license and SSN of the user, and your payment (personal check is fine)
to Stan Swam, Human Resources Training Department,
Box T- 0510.
