ACADEMIC INTEGRITY

Each student is expected to do his/her own work independently.  Any incident of Academic Dishonesty will be reported to the Dean of Students.  Academic dishonesty includes, but is not limited to, cheating on an examination or other assignment, plagiarism, copying drawing files from another student, turning in another student’s work, or unauthorized collaboration between students that is deemed to be excessive by the instructor, i.e., two students doing one drawing together and turning it in under different names.  Appropriate sanctions, both academic and University, will be applied for each incident of dishonesty.  A copy of the University policy and possible sanctions is available in the Student Handbook and the departmental office.

DISABILITIES

Students with documented disabilities, learning and otherwise, may request reasonable accommodations that will enable them to participate in all educational programs within the Engineering Technology department.  Students requesting such accommodations should contact the ADA compliance officer for Tarleton State University in the Office of Disability Services.
