The Student Wellness Peer Educators

(SWPE)

The Student Wellness Peer Educators (SWPE) is a peer education leadership program sponsored by the department of Student Wellness (Career Services, Counseling Center, and Health Center). SWPE is the only peer education leadership group on campus that focus on holistic wellness. The SWPE students develop and implement quality and exciting educational wellness programs that are relevant to college students. SWPE students use data to develop and improve their educational programs. SWPE students develop career-related skills (eg leadership skills, presentation skills, networking skills) while helping to educate the community on important and relevant wellness issues.

SWPE offers a variety of information and resources for the use of Tarleton students. We have a resource room that students can check out materials that can be a great help with papers, speeches and presentations. Some of the resource available include: books, videos, posters, pamphlets.

You can contact us at the SWPE office, which is located in Student Counseling Center, room 212, Phone: 968-9044.
