University Services

During Orientation, you will register for the fall semester. You will not be required to pay for classes at this time. You will be mailed a bill following Texan Orientation.

Financial Aid and Scholarships

Staff members will be on hand to answer questions about financial aid and scholarships. Preferred lenders that work closely with Tarleton State University will have representatives on site to discuss the lending process.

Immunization

While not required for most students, it is important that immunizations for tetanus and measles are current. Additionally, it is strongly recommended by the Center for Disease Control and the Student Health Center that you are immunized against bacterial meningitis. Texan Card

A permanent ID Card is issued to incomig students to be used for their entire enrollment at Tarleton. At $10 replacement fee will be charged for lost or damaged cards. This card will give the students access to their residence halls, meal plans, athletic and fine arts events and toher activities.

Texan Bucks

A Texan Bucks account may be set up be contacting the Texan Card office at (254) 968-1800 or by visiting room 101 of the Tarleton Center. Texan bucks may be used in the Dining Hall, Food court, Campus Store, Health Center, Police Department, laundry machines in residence halls, copy machines and soda machines on campus. More than 25 off-campus merchants in Stephenville also accept Texan Bucks. For more information go to www.tarleton.edu/~texancard

University Housing

All students must be cleared by Residential Living & Learning before registering during Texan Orientation. Students who have not made arrangements for fall housing should promptley contact Residential Living & Learning. Students who have earned less than 30 semester credit hours are required to live in university housing.
