Staff Employee of the Month
Nomination Criteria
The Tarleton State University Employee of the Month is a service-oriented award to be presented to staff members at Tarleton State University. The following criteria will be used in consideration and selection of a recipient for the award year September 1 - August 31.
Nominees for the TSU Employee of the Month must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a Tarleton State University staff member who is currently employed in a full-time budgeted position below the rank of vice president. (Retired/retiring employees may be considered if their retirement falls within the year of the service award).
- Must have at least eighteen (18) months of service in a full-time budgeted position with Tarleton State University.
- The employee must demonstrate outstanding dedication, service and commitment to Tarleton State University through his/her respective campus, department/division, representation in campus organizations, service and volunteer efforts toward fulfilling the mission statement of the University.
- The employee cannot be serving on the Tarleton State University Staff Council Employee Recognition Committee.
- Must not have been awarded the Employee of the Year award within the last five years.
- Must not have been awarded the Employee of the Month award within the last two years.
Nomination procedures are as follows:
- Any employee of Tarleton State University (to include student employees) may nominate any eligible employee, other than his/her immediate family members, for consideration as Employee of the Month.
- Nominations must include a detailed summary describing why the employee should be considered for the Employee of the Month, ensuring that all criteria have been met.
- Completed nomination forms should be routed to the Staff Council Employee Recognition Committee inter-campus Box T- l000.
