Because Everyone has a hand in making the world a better place.
Tarleton's sociology club, was founded in 1995 as a resource
to students interested in broadening their sociological knowledge. The Sociology Club
serves to open discussion of important events, enhance classroom learning,
and highlight topics impacting society as a whole.
In the Sociology Club meetings, topics can include gender roles, race, religion,
family, economics, and many more. At each meeting, members introduce and
discuss issues of their choice.
All students with an interest in sociology can be a part of The Sociology Club.
Meetings take place in a relaxed atmosphere and provide opportunities to
meet students who share common concerns and goals.
