Administrative Assistant [top] [apply now]
The AA is responsible for the daily upkeep of the SGA office. They are responsible for answering the phone, e-mails, mail, etc. He or she is also to assist the Student Body President and Vice-President at any time necessary with scheduling, correspondence, phone calls, etc. They are required to work at least 5 hours a week and are paid. The AA will sometimes work more than 5 hours a week but will only be paid for 5 hours.
Assistant Vice-President for FRC [top] [apply now]
The VP for FRC is responsible for the coordination and supervision of the Freshman Representative Council. This person shall spend time in the summer at Orientations and events recruiting for FRC and then preside over the selection process the first two weeks of school. Their other primary responsibilities include Midnight Breakfast, Leadership Training, 6th Grade Day Away and supervising all FRC office hours.
Assistant Vice-President for Community & Public Relations [top] [apply now]
The VP for Public Relations supervises and executes all Public Relations for SGA. They are in charge of working with the school newspaper and local radio stations every week. This person will also work with FRC and use them as a Public Relations committee to get PR work done during office hours. They will also create and work with the SGA J-TAC sub-committee to ensure proper communication with the J-TAC. This person works every day to get the SGA message out to students effectively.

The VP for Academic Affairs serves as the student’s voice to the Administration concerning all Academic Affairs issues. He or she shall meet with the VP for Academic affairs at least once a month and also serve as a member of the Academic Council. This person will also coordinate and utilize an SGA committee to get ideas and draft legislation and is also in charge of the SGA Faculty Staff Appreciation Day.

The VP for University Operations serves as the student’s voice to the Administration concerning all operational issues on campus. He or she shall meet with the VP for Finance and Administration at least once a month. This person will also coordinate and utilize an SGA committee to get ideas and draft legislation. It should be also someone who is willing to hear criticism form students and take action on campus problems on a daily basis.
Assistant Vice-President for University Spirit and Tradition [top] [apply now]
The VP for University Spirit and Tradition is responsible for all programs that SGA coordinates that deal with the Spirit and Tradition of Tarleton State University. Their primary focus will be coordinating all Homecoming week activities and also the Founders Day program in the spring. They will also utilize a committee to develop legislation and ideas which enhance Tarleton Sprit and Tradition. This needs to be a person who is very active on campus and cares about our Spirit and Tradition and is not afraid to speak to large groups of people.

The VP for Diversity needs to be someone who cares very much about diversity and student growth at Tarleton State University. This person will be in charge of coordinating an SGA committee which will propose legislation and gather ideas to improve diversity on campus. They will also be in charge of programming all SGA diversity programs and working hand in hand with the Center for Diversity Initiatives. In addition to diversity they will serve as a liaison between SGA and all other external student groups and organizations, in hopes of pursuing a broader vision of unity for Tarleton State University.
