Advertising Policies and Procedures

All advertising, except personnel ads, must be approved by the director of public information or the vice president for institutional advancement. The Office of Public Information has an account dedicated to advertising; however, the funds are spent on advertising for the University as a whole (i.e., Fort Worth billboard, ads in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram Education Tab).

Program-specific advertising is paid by the requesting department and the Office of Public Information will assist with media planning, including ad creation and placement, at no cost.

The department responsible for payment of the ad is also responsible for securing a purchase order number and processing invoice for payment.
