Mathematics
The mathematics program at Tarleton State University leads to a Bachelors or Science degree in Mathematics either with or without Secondary Teacher Certification. The curriculum includes:
- Foundation material in the areas of Calculus, Statistics, and Logic.
- Pure Mathematics in the areas of Algebra, Number Theory, and Analysis.
- Applied Mathematics in the areas of Differential Equations, Linear Algebra, Modeling, Statistics, and Numerical analysis.
- Computer Science and Science (Physics, Biology, Chemistry, or Geology).
- A support field in a mathematical discipline such as biology, physics, computer science, computer information systems, engineering, chemistry, business, or accounting.
