FACILITIES and EQUIPMENT We have 4 research labs for the faculty and students working with faculty.     We have a well-equipped computer lab with both IBM and Macintosh stations, several printers, a plotter, and scanner. We also have a geosciences student area complete with computers, scanner, color printer and other amenities   Our Equipment Includes the following: Rock Cutting and Polishing Equipment Surveying Equipment - 2 Electronic theodolites, Total station, Electronic level 12 channel portable seismometer Resistivity Meter Global Positioning Units (GPS) Polarized Light Microscope (including one with a video system) Access to an XRD An array of environmental field equipment Access to instrumentation for environmental analysis including an ICP-AES, a CN analyzer, HPLC and GC-MS Extensive mineral, fossil, and rock collections Map collection
