Administrative Systems 

The curriculum for the Bachelor of Business Administration in Administrative Systems emphasizes real-world application and problem-solving projects. The administrative systems degree program prepares the business student for a career as an office or administrative manager, responsible for managing support functions such as reprographics, records management, computer information systems and communication systems. Administrative assistants work with managers in various departments of an organization. Skills acquired as a student in this program may also be used in secretarial, executive secretarial or other business-related professions. Pursuing a graduate degree upon completion of the bachelor's degree is also an option. Students complete the University Core courses, the College of Business Administration core courses, and 24 hours of administrative systems courses: 

  • Intermediate keyboarding
  • Advanced document production
  • Word processing
  • Advanced word processing
  • Administrative information systems
  • Administration of the electronic office
  • Six hours administrative systems internship or electives 
The Bachelor of Science degree in Administrative Systems offers a certification program that prepares the graduate to teach business subjects to junior high and high school students.
