Supplemental Instruction (SI) sessions are designed to support student learning through peer-assisted study sessions. These free sessions a re facilitated by students who have been previously successful in the course. SI sessions integrate how-to-learn with what-to-learn; incorporate study skills; provide peer-support; and reinforce classroom instruction. The informal setting provides a forum for students to interact with other students, discussing the content, and constructing a framework of strategies for academic success.
