Look carefully at the screen that appears. Your username and a
temporary password will appear in green. Note: Your username is
in all capital letters, but you can use either upper or lower case letters
when using it to log in.
Your temporary password only lasts two days, so go
ahead and change it.
Click the word "here" in the message about changing your password to quickly access the change password interface.
Also, your password expires periodically. Check your Tarleton WebMail
account (http://online.tarleton.edu:81/) for notices from Information
Resources about password expiration dates.
This screen will appear.
Carefully follow the directions on the screen. Note the help
links on the right side of the screen and use them as needed.
Choose a password you can remember.
Your password is case sensitive, so be careful when using capital letters.
If your password has been successfully changed, this screen will appear.
Type your assigned username and the new password you
created in the appropriate spaces.
Click Log In.
Your WebMail "New Mail" folder will open, so you can tend
to your email.
Check your Tarleton WebMail account on a regular basis. Otherwise, you will miss campus announcements, as well as notification about your password's expiration date.
