Library Instruction

The Library staff invites all Tarleton State University faculty to take advantage of the services that enhance their teaching and research. Details on these services are available through the links in the sidebar on the left and the main University Libraries website.

Two libraries serve the Tarleton State University undergraduate and graduate programs. The Dick Smith Library is centrally located on the Stephenville campus. The Tarleton Library—Central Texas is located in the Oveta Culp Hobby Memorial Library on the Central Texas College campus northwest of the Tarleton—Central Texas building.

Faculty members have full access to the library's electronic collections and resources from their office, classroom, and home computers, including the catalog, and all of our online periodical databases and e-books.

The library staff is available to help keep you apprised of the latest changes in resources and services, and to work with you as curriculum and research needs or concerns arise.
