Academic Search Complete - provides full text for over 1,260 journals covering the social sciences, humanities, general science, etc.

CINAHL - The Cumulative Index to Nursing & Allied Health (CINAHL) database provides authoritative coverage of the literature related to nursing and allied health.

Digital Dissertations - includes bibliographic citations for materials ranging from the first U.S. dissertation, accepted in 1861, to those accepted as recently as last semester. Citations for dissertations published from 1980 forward also include 350-word abstracts written by the author. Citations for master's theses from 1988 forward include 150-word abstracts. The full text of more than 1.7 million of these titles is available in paper and microform formats. Institutional subscribers to ProQuest Digital Dissertations receive on-line access to the complete file of dissertations in digital format starting with titles published from 1997 forward.

Education Full Text - is a bibliographic database that indexes and abstracts articles of at least one column in length from English-language periodicals and yearbooks published in the United States and elsewhere. English-language books relating to education published in 1995 or later are also indexed. Abstracting coverage begins with January 1994. Abstracts range from 50 to 300 words and describe the content and scope of the source documents. Full-text coverage begins in January 1996.

ERIC (Ebsco) ERIC (OCLC) and ERIC (CSA) - ERIC is a national education database sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Educational Research and Improvement (OERI). Presently the largest education database in the world, ERIC contains over one million citations covering research documents, journal articles, technical reports, program descriptions and evaluations, and curricular materials in the field of education.  Also includes the Education Resources Information Center.

Health Reference Center - provides an integrated collection of general interest health and
fitness magazines, medical and professional periodicals, reference books and pamphlets. Records are available in a combination of indexing, abstracts or full text formats. Designed for nursing and allied health students, as well as consumer health researchers.

Health Source Academic - provides more than 550 scholarly full text journals, including more than 450 peer-reviewed journals focusing on many medical disciplines. Also featured are abstracts and indexing for more than 800 journals.

Professional Development Publicationsdesigned for professional educators, provides a highly specialized collection of nearly 600 full text journals, including more than 350 peer-reviewed titles. This is the most comprehensive and most valuable collection of full text education journals in the world.

PsycInfo - provides access to international literature in psychology and related disciplines. Unrivaled in its depth of psychological coverage and respected worldwide for its high quality, the database is enriched with literature from an array of disciplines related to psychology such as psychiatry, education, business, medicine, nursing, pharmacology, law, linguistics, and social work.

Psychology Journals - includes the following child development related journals:  Journal of Child and Family Studies, Gifted Child Quarterly, Focus On Autism And Other Develpmental Disabilities, and Topics in Early Childhood Special Education.

PubMed - from the National Library of Medicine. Provides access to over 11 million citations in MEDLINE, PreMEDLINE, and other related databases, with links to participating online journals.

ScienceDirect - Web database for scientific research that contains the full-text of more than 1,000 Elsevier Science journals in the life, physical, medical, technical, and social sciences available through the Internet.  Some journals related to child development include: Early Childhood Research Quarterly, Children and Youth Services Review, and Child Abuse and Neglect.

Sociological Abstracts - abstracts and indexes the international literature in sociology and related disciplines in the social and behavioral sciences. The database provides abstracts of journal articles and citations to book reviews drawn from over 1,809 serials publications, and also provides abstracts of books, book chapters, dissertations, and conference papers.

Sociological Collection - is a comprehensive database covering information in all areas of sociology, including social behavior, human tendencies, interaction, relationships, community development, culture and social structure. This database provides complete full text for more than 500 important journals, including more than 450 peer-reviewed titles.

Wiley Interscience - features over 1,000 journals, major reference works, online books, Current Protocols laboratory manuals, and databases as well as a suite of professional and management resources.
