WorldCat - (FirstSearch Core) Books and other materials in libraries worldwide. WorldCat contains more than 32 million records describing items owned by libraries around the world. If Tarleton does not own these items, they may be requested through Inter-Library Loan.

AH Search - Arts and Humanities Search is under FirstSearch Supplement under Databases. This is an online Arts and Humanities Citation Index.
Handbook of Texas - This is the full-text electronic version of the reference work.
History Cooperative - full-text online access to several historical journals.
JSTOR - includes links to journals in African American Studies.
Lexis Nexis -Try Lexis Nexis "Reference" for the fulll text of historically important Polls and Surveys.
Periodicals Archive Online - Periodicals Archive Online indexes periodicals back to the late 18th century. There are no full text articles and the indexing does not come up the the present time, but it's useful for coverage of historical topics.
