At Tarleton State University, a variety of leadership programs are available to engage students in critical thinking, problem solving, leadership skill development and assessment, governance, service, volunteerism, and group skills.
Student Programs
There are three tiers to the Student Leadership Program: Greek Life, Duck Camp, and Leadership Certification: Greek Life includes all Greek-affiliated sororities and fraternities; Duck Camp is the freshman transition camp, which occurs every fall before school starts, designed to introduce the incoming freshmen to their peers and to better acclimate them to college while providing them a better understanding of university traditions and history; Leadership Certification is a way to become a certified Tarleton Student Leader. Student can participate in the Emerge, Transform, and Engage programs to learn more about leadership a well as Leadership Seminars and Conferences. Leadership Certification gives students the ability to learn and effectively execute their leadership skills.
