Letter from the Office of Student Judicial Affairs

The mission of the Office of Student Life is to offer a variety of programs and services which are intentionally designed to complement and enhance the students’ educational experience.

A primary goal is to provide opportunities for student involvement, student development and experiential learning which contributes to student success, satisfaction and allows students to reach their full potential academically and personally.

Other major objectives to the Office of Student Judicial Affairs include making students and parents aware of, and encouraging the use of, the university resources; integrating student services and academic affairs; directly involving students in the affairs of the institution; and encouraging a sense of community among students, their families, faculty, and staff.

In addition, the Office of Student Judicial Affairs is responsible for providing a just, safe, orderly, and positive campus climate through regulations, disciplinary processes, informational programming, and intervention efforts.

The staff also provides general advisement to students, and assists students, families, and members of the university community in dealing with crisis situations or other problems affecting a student's life.
