Welcome to my webpage

I joined the faculty of Tarleton State University in 1999. I received my Ph.D. from the University of North Texas in 1995 and started the Social Sciences Program for the University of Central Texas in 1996. My most significant publication is U.S. Battleship Operations in World War I, published by the U.S. Naval Institute. I serve on the editorial board of the Journal of Intercultural Disciplines. My continuing research interests include naval policy and diplomacy during the Wilson administration.  I serve as a guest lecturer for the U.S. Naval War College Strategy and Policy Program.
