Born Enid, Oklahoma February 15, 1952. Married since 1975. Two children.

 

Education: 

Oklahoma State University. B.S., Animal Science, 1974.

Louisiana State University. M.S., Animal Science (Equine Reproductive Physiology), 1977.

Texas A&M University. Ph.D., Animal Science (Equine Production), 1981.

Current: Influence of fiber content of concentrate on equine feeding patterns.

1978 – 1981: Texas A&M University. Body condition and reproductive efficiency of mares. Developed body condition scoring system for horses.

1975 – 1977: Louisiana State University. Effects of restricted suckling on postpartum reproductive performance in mares.
