To be considered for degree conferral, a candidate must be in good standing with the University. All contractual and financial obligations to the University must be satisfied. Candidates for a degree must complete the following not later than the dates specified in the University Calendar:
- Have a degree plan on file with the College of Graduate Studies
- Submit any necessary substitution forms
- Successfully complete course requirements for field of study
- Pass the comprehensive exam for the field of study
- Submit an application for graduation
- Submit a Graduate Checkout form
- Have an overall GPA of 3.0 or above
Graduate Students are expected to maintain a high level of academic performance; therefore No Academic Honors Are Bestowed Upon Graduation.
