Dinner Well Attended

On Saturday, October 25th, the Friends sponsored "Dinner in the Stacks" featuring Dr. Mary Joe Clendenin. Stories of spooks and phantoms were shared by Dr. Clendenin with a crowd of around 60 people. According to many of the participants, the evening was entertaining and the company was delightful.

If you have not attended a "Dinner in the Stacks", you are truly missing a great evening of fun. Look for information concerning the Spring dinner in the next newsletter.

Book Sale Makes its Mark

During the past Fall, the Friends in conjunction with the library staff, hosted the annual book sale. Lucky shoppers selected from a multitude of titles ranging from hard cover textbooks to paperbacks. As an added bonus the past two years, the Campus Store located in the Student Development Center, donated several boxes of textbooks that were sold. As always, all proceeds go to the Friends.

Bake Sale Coming

Again this Spring, the Friends will sponsor its annual Bake Sale. Look for more information in the next newsletter.
