• Do complete the 2008-2009 Free Application for Federal Student Aid using completed 2007 tax returns.  Using estimated taxes will slow your financial aid processing down considerably.

• Do list Tarleton's School Code 003631 on the Application for Federal Student Aid.

• Do have all required financial Aid forms and requested information into the Tarleton State University Financial Aid Office by the deadlines.

• Do read and respond promptly to any information received from the Financial Aid Office.

• Do request loan funds be sent to Tarleton State University by electronic funds transfer.

• Do complete Loan Counseling/Debt Management by Internet if you are applying for a student loan.

• Do pre-register at your scheduled time or at least 30 days prior to the beginning of each semester for which you have applied for financial aid.

• Do enroll in at least six hours each semester for which you apply for financial aid and meet satisfactory academic progress (see catalog).

• Do consult the Financial Aid Office if you are an undergraduate student and plan to drop below twelve (12) hours.

• Do keep your grade mailing address up-to-date with the Registrar's Office.
