In
our technical writing curriculum, the traditional discipinary boundaries
are evaporating. Our courses combine rhetorical theories, classical and
contemporary theories of design, communication and learning theories with
the practical and practiced skills of word processing, email, graphics
production, electronic presentations, desktop publishing, and web authoring.
Taught in computer classrooms, all of our courses meld writing and electronic
technologies to give our students the kinds of literacies--linguistic and
technological--they will need in their professional lives. |
