Research and Facilities

Our facilities include state of the art instructional and research equipment and modern hardware and software electronics design tools.  These facilities, along with the faculty who use them, provide our students with invaluable experiences as they prepare for their careers. 

The $31M Science and Planetarium building (SCPL) opened in the spring of 2001.  This building houses state-of-the-art teaching and research facilities for physics and engineering, including a 1 MV linear accelerator.  This building also houses other programs within the College of Science and Technology including Chemistry, Biology and Geosciences.

 

The Hydrology & Engineering building houses two state of the art computer labs/classrooms and a hydrology lab.  This building is utilized primarily by Engineering Physics, Hydrology, and Environmental Engineering students.
