Departmental

Greetings from the Department
of Educational Administration, Counseling, and Psychology at Tarleton
State University. My name is Bob Newby, and as Department Head, I am
pleased to welcome you to our website.
The purpose of this site
is to allow you to investigate our department so as to learn about our

The department is a community

12 faculty in 1996 to 25 faculty currently.
The Psychology major is one

We offer six Masters degree

Tarleton State University
recently received approval to offer a doctoral degree in Educational
Leadership. This degree is the first doctoral degree to be awarded by
the University. We currently have a cohort group of fifteen students
who have begun their coursework leading to the degree. More information
about this program can be found on the Graduate

section on our departmental website.
The department also offers
two alternative degree and certification programs for Principals. These
are the New Century Educational

of Educational Organizations Programs (CEO). The latter program
is in collaboration with the Region XI Educational Service Center.
