Lecture Policies
1. Be on time:
a. The
roll will be checked each time the lecture meets.
b. I
expect you to be in your seat and ready for the lecture after roll
check.
c. If
you arrive late, do not disturb the class. Quietly take your
seat!
d. It
is your responsibility to tell me after class that you were tardy,
otherwise
you will be counted absent.
2. Excessive Absences:
a. You
are allowed to miss 3 times -- No questions asked.
b. More
than the 3 free absences without acceptable excuse, and you will not
receive
any consideration on your final grade.
3. Other:
a. Test
results are posted by your UIN # [Student ID #] [the last 4-5digits].
b. Tests
will not be returned or discussed in class.
However, you
can come by
my office and we will discuss your last exam.
c.
Make-up Tests - Make-up tests may be comprehensive and essay in format.
Make-up tests must be taken within one week of the absence.

5. Your grade will
be determined
as follows:
Average of 5 lecture tests = 60% of grade
Average of 4 lab tests = 40% of grade

Test #2 Chapters 4, 5 & portions of 25
The Tissues & The Integumentary System &
Metabolism

Skeletal and Muscle Tissues & Systems
Test 4 &
Final Exam Either Dec. 9 or 10 as scheduled
Chapters 1 THRU 16 with emphasis on Chapters 11 thru
16: The Nervous System & Special Senses

4 practicals are worth 10% each.
