Clyde R. Stahnke
Dr. Stahnke earned a B.S. in Agronomy (Soil Science emphasis); his academic emphasis in both graduate degrees was in Soil Morphology and Classification at Oklahoma State University.
He was employed by the Agronomy Department of Ohio State University from July 1, 1968 to September 1, 1970, at which time he was appointed as Professor of Soils at Tarleton State University.
His professional activities have included two terms as President of the Texas Section, American Society of Agronomy. He also served one term as President of the Professional Soil Scientists Association of Texas. He has served on several state and national committees in the general areas of soil science as well.
