| Agricultural Services & Development Extension/ Industry option is
a broad based agricultural degree program allowing the student to specialize
in an area of agriculture or business. The degree program provides agriculture
instruction in Animal Science, Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, Horticulture,
and Sales and Professional Development through Agricultural Services &
Development courses. The degree requires a 12 week supervised internship
in an agricultural business, industry, or with a governmental agency.
The 12 hours of electives and the Internship gives the students the opportunity to specialize. Some of the possible specializations within the degree include:Marketing, Finance, Computer Information Systems, General Business, Agricultural Economics, Animal Science, Agronomy, Horticulture, Criminal Justice, and other possible combinations. Students will take required agriculture courses in the degree program and select a 12 hour area of specialization by use of the electives. |
