The Writing Proficiency Examination

The Writing Center consultants can help students prepare for the WPE. Students who need assistance should come to the Writing Center during regular operating hours.

The Evaluation Criteria for the WPE is comprehensive and thorough. Tarleton faculty members who grade the WPE carefully consider how well each paper reflects the evaluation standards.
