Can I get financial aid?

What if I am also attending a community college?
If you are also attending MCC concurrently while enrolled at Tarleton, please ask the financial aid representative about the need for a consortium agreement. You can find the consortium agreement paperwork for MCC at http://www.tarleton.edu/~finaid/consortium.html

Where are my classes located?
Most face-to-face classes in Waco will be located on the MCC campus. You can find the specific building and room for each course in DuckTrax or at the following site: http://uc.mclennan.edu/schedules/. Simply search the current semester's class schedule to find the location of each class.
Where do I buy my books?
There are two ways to obtain books for face-to-face courses delivered in Waco. You may order from the MCC campus bookstore or you may order online from the Tarleton Bookstore (http://tarleton.bncollege.com). Textbooks purchased from the Tarleton bookstore can be delivered to the MCC University Center offices for students to pick up when they are on campus.
How do I drop a class?
It is the student's responsibility to drop a course. Requests for drops must be in writing and sent to the Registrar's office. The fax number for the Registrar's office is 254-968-9389.
How often should I see my advisor?
You should see your advisor regularly to ensure that you are making timely progress toward completion of your degree program. Consult with your advisor regarding how frequently you should meet with him or her.
Do I need a parking permit?
If you are taking courses that meet during the day on the MCC campus, you will need a parking permit. Visit the MCC MAC card office/desk to obtain a permit. You will need to show a form of picture identification and a copy of your current class schedule.
Where do I get a student ID card?
Please call 254-299-88UC to schedule an appointment to have your picture taken for a Texan Card, Tarleton's student identification card.
Where do I graduate?
Graduation ceremonies take place at the Stephenville campus. Check the University calendar for the date.
