Veterans Affairs Office
Mission:
The VA Office assists all students attending Tarleton State University using education benefits under the Department of Veterans Affairs Educational Assistance Programs in the pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's Degree. Our goal is to provide all the pertinent information required for a smooth and seamless transition to all our VA students transferring from other institutions, while providing excellent customer service.
Veterans are afforded the same rights and must meet all academic requirements and maintain the same academic standards as any student attending Tarleton State University.
VA Certification
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs requires that the University certify that all courses used in determining the veteran's full-time equivalency status are applicable to the degree the veteran is pursuing.
- Request for Certification Worksheet: Before certifying to the VA that you are enrolled, it will be necessary for you to file with this office the VA Certification Worksheet.
A Request for Certification worksheet must be completed for each semester you are enrolled. This form must be returned to the Tarleton State University Military Veterans Services Center in order to assure no delay in VA certification which will have a direct effect on your VA benefits.
