Step 1
Go to www.applytexas.org and apply as a transfer student seeking a four year degree.
Step 2
Send your official SMART, AARTS, Community College of the Air Force, or Coast Guard transcript to:

SMART and AARTS college transcripts can be delivered to Tarleton electronically.
Step 3
Send official transcripts from any college or university you previously attended. Send official CLEP scores or DANTES test scores directly to Tarleton.
Step 4
If you have less than 30 transferable hours, send an official high school transcript along with any SAT or ACT test scores. If you have not taken the SAT or ACT, please contact Undergraduate Admissions for admissions options.
Step 5
Tarleton awards up to 4 hours of Physical Activity to veterans providing a DD- 214 with an honorable discharge. Credits from SMART, AARTS, and the Coast Guard are evaluated based on ACE recommendations. Credits from The Community College of the Air Force are evaluated based on the technical or academic nature of the course.
Step 6
Congratulations! You should have completed the admissions process. Any further assistance as you work towards your degree here at Tarleton State University will be through the Veterans Services Center.
